All of our team share a passion and depth of knowledge and a wealth of experience in childcare.
Nearly all our staff have dedicated childcare qualification, and all participate in Tots Paradise’s ongoing professional development program led by experienced trainers and facilitators.

As a crèche manager, no day is ever the same!!
You are always on the go, educating and caring for the children, making sure all the team is working together, meeting new parents, attending professional development training, and dealing with the daily demands of a busy centre. The children make every day worthwhile as they are also so keen to share their news, call your name and give you a hug.
- I first opened my business in September 1999. It has gone from strength to strength ever since. I am immensely proud of what I have achieved.
- I am qualified with an Honours Degree in Early Years Care and Education; I have a Diploma in Montessori Teacher Training and a Diploma in Child Psychology.
- I have over 20 years’ experience in the private sector bringing with me a rich and diverse set of skills. I am passionate about working in childcare and see it as a vocation rather than a job.

MichelleAfter-School Assistant Manager
- My joy in working with children comes from my own early childhood and personal life experiences.
- I have gained over 14 years of childcare experience working with children from 6 months to 12 years of age. I started working in Tots Paradise in October 2022 with a supportive, hardworking, child-led team. During my time here, I have grown with the staff while watching the children enjoy the versatile environment, they are growing in. This is my favourite part of the job.
- I aim to grow further through training and education in the next few years.
- During my free time and weekends, I volunteer by working with children in a hospital environment.
Ciara- I hold a Level 8 degree in Irish and Geography and a QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education.
- I have worked at Tots Paradise since May 2024, adding to my two years of experience in preschool and afterschool settings.
- My role has allowed me to further develop my skills in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children and supporting their learning, development, and well-being.
- Working with children is deeply fulfilling because of their natural curiosity, creativity, and energy.
- In my spare time, I enjoy playing camogie.
Charlene- I have a Level 5 FETAC qualification in Early Years.
- I have spent the last 3 years working in preschools and creches.
- I have a genuine passion for working with children and love to see them grow and achieve their milestones.
Maca- I am from Malaga, Spain. I have been living in Galway since June 2019.
- I am qualified with a QQI Level 8 Honours Degree in Primary Education, majoring in Special Needs.
- I have worked in preschool and afterschool for the past five years and have loved every second.
- I am very passionate about children and love having the privilege of watching them grow and achieve their milestones.
Rae- I am a mother of three grown-up sons. My youngest attended Tots Paradise 18 years ago.
- I am a qualified nurse. I worked in the HSE for several years as a general nurse and also in the area of addiction. I have a certificate in Psychology from Maynooth University and FETAC level 5 in childcare.
- In my spare time, I volunteer with a rowing club, ‘Crew Blu’, for young adults with additional needs. I also love gardening, walking, and yoga.
- I enjoy working with young children and hope my experience as a working mother will contribute to the care of the Children here at Tots Paradise.
Renata- I have a Masters Degree in Educational Pedagogy and Social Work.
- I have 12 years experience in the disability sector in Ireland and 3 years experience in the childcare sector in Poland.
- My goal is to build warm and supportive relationships with the children in my care and their parents.
- I am a coffee and yoga lover and a proud Mama of one.
Therese- I joined Tots Paradise in September 2021.
- I really enjoy working with the children. Everyday is unique. I am very compassionate and empathic to all the children.
- I am good at problem solving and it was through my love of babysitting when I was younger that I decided to make childcare a career, a career I am passionate about. I love my job and could not imagine doing anything else.
- I have Fetac Level 5 in childcare and QQI level 5 in special needs assisting. I am currently doing my Level 6 and hope to have it completed by May 2023.
Kamila- I have a Masters Degree in Pedagogy and Pedagogical Therapy.
- I have done various roles and worked with several different year groups in the childcare sector for over 10 years.
- My strengths are building strong relationships with children, families and co-workers as well as creating a comfortable and secure environment for children.
- In my private life I am a proud mother of two. I like reading and cooking. I also love animals and being out in nature.
Melissa- I’m from Athenry and I’ve been working in childcare for twenty years in the local area. I work in the pre-school room with the two to four year olds which I really enjoy.
- I became an early-childhood educator because I love educating and caring for children. Watching their individual personalities grow makes everyday unique and special!

Sam- I am an Early Years Educator qualified with a FETAC Level 5. I have been working with Tots Paradise for 5 years now. Prior to this I was childminding at home and I helped at Tots Paradise on a temporary basis before being taken on full time.
- I am a mum of four and my youngest two attended Tots Paradise. I love working with children, helping them grow and develop. I have worked with all age groups from 2 – 12 years.
- I believe that by working together with my colleagues we can all provide the highest quality of early years care and education where children are valued as active learners.
