  • ECCE

    One of the most important stages in your child's development

    Tots Paradise ECCE teachers are fully trained early childhood educators and committed to the development of each child’s individual personality and each class room is equipped to the highest standard.

    Our ECCE class-rooms are areas for children where they choose their work from among self correcting materials displayed on open shelves in specific work areas where the child will enjoy both a structured and free play based curriculum. They will be encouraged to participate in all the activities the room has to offer, such as: art and craft, messy play, cookery etc. as well as outdoor play.

    ECCE is a comprehensive educational approach based on the observation of children’s needs; it invites children to engage in learning activities of their own individual choice. Under the guidance of a fully trained teacher children in Early Childhood Education each child will learn by making discoveries with materials, such as cultivating concentration, motivation, self discipline, and a love of learning. It covers 5 main areas: Practical life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language and Cultural activities.

    At Tots Paradise our ECCE teachers believe that anything a child can learn indoors they can also learn outdoors. We take great pride in our outdoor space and we encourage children to be actively outside as much as possible.

  • What is ECCE?

    The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Scheme provides early childhood care and education for children of pre-school age. The scheme is offered in early years settings (pre-schools, Montessori’s, creches, playgroups) for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, 38 weeks of the year.

    All children are entitled to 2 full academic years on the ECCE scheme.

    Children are eligible to start the ECCE scheme in the September of the year that they turn 2 years and 8 months. For example, a child turning 2 years and 8 months by the 31st August in any year may register for the scheme that September.

    Tots Paradise Childcare are a registered provider of the ECCE Preschool Years for children. Our ECCE Classes normally run from 9.15am to 12.15pm Monday to Friday – These hours are free of charge if your child qualifies. If your child is younger than the qualifying age, they can still attend preschool but you must pay the weekly rate.  You can also choose to put your child into full-time/part-time childcare with Tots Paradise at an additional weekly cost. Please contact our childcare manager.

    At Tots Paradise we have a waiting list for enrolment and we advise all parents / guardians to put their child on the waiting list as soon as possible. A deposit may be required.

  • Breakfast Club and Afterschool

    At Tots Paradise we offer before and after school care to most local national schools. We have dedicated Car Services to drop children to school and to pick them up when school is finished. All our cars are fully equipped with seat belts and child booster seats.

    If you child is being dropped to School by Tots Paradise we can provide a breakfast to ensure your child’s full concentration on their busy day in school. On arriving back to Tots Paradise from school, all our afterschoolers receive a hot nutritious meal and will have time to unwind and receive help and supervision with their home work.

    Once home work is completed play and having fun and making friends is the priority. Children play freely and also take part in organised play, we also play outside every day in all types of weather as we have a variety of outdoor rooms. At all times children are supervised by Tots Paradise staff and fun and games are an important part of each afterschoolers day.

    We can also take afterschoolers during their school holidays and ensure their days are filled with activities such as cookery, art n crafts, Lego club, reading club and many more depending on the interests in the class. Speak with our Childcare managers if you would like to see if we collect and drop to your child’s school.

  • Full Day or Part time Care

    Care for your child from top class educators

    At Tots Paradise, we provide full day care from children from the age of 2 years.  Children who come full day are included in our ECCE programme. Nutritious Meals for full day care children are provided by Moon and Spoon. Our full day hours are from 7.30am to 6.00pm

    At Tots Paradise, we provide part time day care for children from the age of 2 years. Children come from 9.15am to 14.15 pm and can avail of the ECCE programme.
